‘Knowledge Cafe’ (now Urban Skill) has been selected by UN IGF (Internet Governance Forum) for two consecutive years which gave us an opportunity to exhibit our projects on an international platform where we met several delegates from countries across the world.
About IGF
IGF 2018 was hosted by the Government of France at the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris in November 2018
IGF 2019 was hosted by the Government of Germany at the Estrel Congress Centre in Berlin in November 2019
Roadtrip of 20,000 Kms to promote Digital Skills to the Senior Citizens, Women and workers of informal sectors.
Socially motivated we could make this roadtrip of 60 days and 7 members a grand success by successfully covering 20,000 Kms wherein we could motivate the workers of the urban informal sectors inclusive of the senior citizens, women, street vendors, hawkers, truck drivers and others to make use of the digital platforms. We trained them on how to make use of Paytm, WhatsApp and other such platforms in a constructive manner.
